Daily Scripture

Moses 7:61

And the day shall come that the earth shall rest, but before that day the heavens shall be darkened, and a veil of darkness shall cover the earth; and the heavens shall shake, and also the earth; and great tribulations shall be among the children of men, but my people will I preserve…

I came to these verses this morning for a little reassurance. I’m feeling the veil of darkness over the earth spoken of in this verse. Worries for the people I love and the challenges they face. Worry for the great tribulations I see all around.

So getting to those last six words is a comfort and a blessing.

But my people will I preserve.

That gives me hope. It gives me a reassurance that even though things are challenging, if we put our trust in Messiah, He will preserve us. I sometimes don’t know how it will happen when I look at all we face. But I will continue to trust that He is bigger than my limited view and He had promised preservation.

For today I will move forward with that hope.
