58 And again Enoch wept and cried unto the Lord, saying: When shall the earth rest?
60 And the Lord said unto Enoch: As I live, even so will I come in the last days …
67 And the Lord showed Enoch all things, even unto the end of the world; and he saw the day of the righteous, the hour of their redemption, and received a fulness of joy;
My heart is sorrowful at the wickedness of the world. So I went back and soaked in these chapters of Moses again, recounting Enoch’s interaction with the Lord. Enoch, too, mourned the wickedness of the people. But the Lord reassured him that righteousness will prevail. And that even during the wickedness of our day, He will preserve us if we turn to Him.
We may not be able to change the wickedness in the hearts of the sons and daughters of men.
But we can always choose the Savior and His righteousness and His protection. It’s real.
