Moroni 6:5 And the church did meet together oft, to fast and to pray, and to speak one with another concerning the welfare of their souls.

Moroni 6:6 And they did meet together oft to partake of bread and wine, in remembrance of the Lord Jesus.

My Sabbath message today.

When the Savior appeared to the Nephites following His Resurrection, He commanded them to meet together oft. When members followed this counsel, they were blessed

Why does the Lord ask us to meet together oft, particularly on the Sabbath? In addition to the Sabbath being for worship and for the ordinance of the sacrament, why is it important to attend our meetings? How have you been blessed, instructed, filled, lifted, and loved by meeting together oft with fellow members? And when have you been able to bless, instruct, fill, lift, and love someone else through your attendance at church each Sunday?

We need each other to live this gospel and return to our Heavenly Parents. Meeting together each Sabbath is how we help each other along.
