… I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things.
I was reading about some tough doctrine this morning that I frankly don’t understand completely. When this happens—and it does—I come back to this comforting verse.
I, like Nephi, do not understand all of God’s ways. (And thank goodness for that. If I did, there wouldn’t feel like much of a gap between my imperfect state and His perfect one.) But I know He loves me. He loves all of us. So when we don’t understand something, we can have full confidence that it will work out because He loves us so much.
Until then, I can choose to walk by faith, trusting that at some point I will come to know. And all will be right.
